St. Patrick's Day Saturday Night Live at The Bunker

Join us at The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe on Saturday, March 15th, for a special St. Patrick’s Day edition of Saturday Night Live! The night kicks off at 8 PM, featuring performances by Ashley Giles and Jaron Camp. Tickets are $20 (+tax).

About the Performers:

Ashley Giles Classically trained and steeped in the traditions of Celtic and folk music, Ashley Giles is a versatile violinist, violist, and fiddler. With experience spanning classical, bluegrass, and country genres, she has performed internationally with groups like The American Rogues and The Country Versatiles, as well as in tribute shows for legends like George Jones and Garth Brooks.

Ashley’s journey with music began early, first picking up instruments around the house before formally training in both classical violin and fiddle. Her dedication led to success in competitions across Ontario, earning multiple accolades, including the Doris Westman Trophy for "Most Promising Fiddler" eight times since 2007. A passionate educator, Ashley has shared her expertise through teaching at various studios before founding her own music school, A to G Music, in Kitchener.

Beyond performing, Ashley is also apprenticing as a violin maker and holds a Master in Community Music from Wilfrid Laurier University. With plans to pursue a Doctorate in Viola Performance, she continues to evolve as both a musician and educator.

Jaron Camp Jaron Camp is a guitarist and singer-songwriter from St. Marys, Ontario. Having spent years as a side-musician for artists such as Emm Gryner, he has since stepped into the spotlight, crafting his own brand of lyrical folk music. Influenced by Jason Isbell and Bob Dylan, Jaron blends thoughtful storytelling with dynamic, improvisational guitar work.

Jaron released his solo debut album Fruitful Consequence in 2023 and most recently, in 2024, the sophomore album Colder as part of his duo project, York Street Thought Process.
