Join us for the final round of The Bunker’s Fall Songwriter Series, an evening that brings three talented songwriters together on stage to share their stories, songs, and the experiences that inspire them.
Jim Overboard — Born and raised in the Maritimes and now based in London, Ontario, Jim has been performing and writing music for over 35 years. His blend of country, rock, pop, East Coast, and Celtic influences creates a warm and familiar sound that connects deeply with audiences. Whether performing solo or fronting Paddy Murphy’s Ghost, Jim thrives on the shared comfort and connection that live music brings.
Sherry Ryan — Blending folk-rock with country and Irish-Newfoundland roots, Sherry Ryan has become one of Atlantic Canada’s most beloved singer-songwriters. Her fifth album, Shout for More, showcases her unmistakable voice and heartfelt songwriting, earning her national attention, extensive radio play, and multiple music awards. Known for weaving stories of heartbreak, hope, and humour into her performances, Sherry’s songs carry the heart and heritage of Newfoundland wherever she plays.
Laika Berdey — Armed with little more than a leaf-green guitar and a loose tongue, singer-songwriter laika berdey is determined to get you singing along to her carefully calibrated blend of emo rock, pop punk and indie folk. An ex-chorister, ex-librarian, and ex-lifeguard, she weaves words and water to tell her stories of simple joys and wrenching heartbreak, exploring the ecstasies and disappointments of laying your heart in another’s hands (or at their feet) in a disconnected age of disposable interactions.
Come enjoy an evening of original music, connection, and storytelling as these three artists close out the Fall Songwriter Series in true Bunker style.
