Striking Steel, comprised of three extraordinary musicians, brings a unique blend of bluegrass, jazz, and innovative styles to the stage. Let's meet the trio:

• Karsten Stryker: A master of bluegrass and jazz guitar, Karsten is currently studying music at the University of Toronto. Influenced by legends like Tony Rice, Bill Monroe, and Thelonious Monk, Karsten weaves a musical tapestry that pays homage to tradition while embracing a contemporary spirit.
• Nathan Duarte: Renowned for his freewheeling approach to the resophonic guitar, Nathan draws inspiration from a diverse array of musicians, including Flatt and Scruggs, Joco Pastorius, and Rob Ickes. His innovative style and deep passion for songwriting promise to make a profound impact on your musical experience.
• Jordon Brosseau: Joining Striking Steel as bassist extraordinaire, Jordon Brosseau brings a wealth of musical experience. From his early years as a boy soprano to his current role in the Southwestern Ontario music scene (since his early twenties, and as the bassist for the Celtic rock powerhouse group Mudmen since August of 2021), Jordon's unique rhythmical insights and influences ranging from RUSH to Stevie Ray Vaughan promise to add a distinctive flavour to the performance.
