Join us on Friday, August 30th, for the grand finale of our three-part Summer Songwriter Session series at The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe. This special event will begin at 8 PM and is a pay-what-you-can affair, featuring three talented songwriters performing in the round: Chase Stevens, Shawna Caspi, and Rachael Frankruyter.

Kick off your evening early with our pre-show happy hour starting at 6 PM, offering $6 Beer, $8 Wine, and $10 Cocktails.

Chase StevensChase Stevens is a Toronto-based singer/songwriter known for his heartfelt lyrics and vivid imagery. Describing his style as “Troubadour Country,” Chase blends New Country with the singer/songwriter tradition. He frequently visits Nashville, where he recently completed recording his upcoming CD, "Trespassing Castles." The CD features singles that have reached #1 on the Canadian Indie Country Chart and have been streamed in over 30 countries. Chase has received accolades including "Video of the Year" and "Songwriter of the Year" awards in Holland, and nominations in Ontario at the MARTY Awards and Mississauga Music Awards. After a long hiatus, Chase is excited to reconnect with live audiences and share his new music.

Shawna CaspiToronto-based singer-songwriter Shawna Caspi is renowned for her poetic and meaningful lyrics, often featuring unusual rhymes and surprising turns of phrase. Shawna has spent years performing solo shows across Canada and the United States, drawing inspiration from diverse landscapes and long drives. Her latest album, "Hurricane Coming," is a deeply personal collection of songs set against cinematic soundscapes. Shawna also integrates her talents as a visual artist, creating abstract paintings inspired by her music.

Rachael FrankruyterRachael Frankruyter is a folk singer-songwriter from Stratford, Ontario, with a background in classical vocal training. Her soft, sweet vocals are paired with honest storytelling, creating a captivating listening experience. Rachael has released two EPs and is currently working on new music for her Factor Funded project in 2023/2024. In addition to her solo work, she is part of the duo York Street Thought Process and plays keys for Chasing Records.
