Performers:

1.  Neil Little: Neil Little, hailing from Stratford, Ontario, Canada, is a distinguished singer-songwriter who embarked on his musical journey at the age of 12. Demonstrating an early penchant for songwriting, Neil has been crafting his own material since the onset of his guitar-playing endeavors. In 2019, under the expert guidance of Scott Merritt, Neil recorded his inaugural solo EP—a collection of six alt-folk acoustic compositions embellished with nuanced electric guitar work. During the period spanning 2021 to 2022, Neil achieved a significant milestone by independently producing his second solo album, titled ‘An Echo Gone,’ entirely within the confines of his residence. Complementing this musical endeavor, Neil also directed a companion video for the record, subsequently featured in the esteemed 7th Siding Film Festival in British Columbia. Presently, Neil has been gracing stages across Southern Ontario, including opening slots for acclaimed artists such as Jim Bryson and String Bone (Barry Payne). Concurrently, he is immersed in the creation of new material, with plans to record his upcoming works in the near future.

2.  Martin & Joseph: Introducing Martin de Freese and Joseph VanRooyen, a dynamic guitar duo whose musical collaboration has flourished for over five years. Specializing in country and soul, they skillfully blend these genres with a touch of blues, crafting a unique and distinct sound. With a shared appreciation for the organic elements within their chosen styles, Martin & Joseph approach their music with freshness and innovation. Their performances reflect their genuine love for playing and entertaining, consistently delivering a sound that resonates with authenticity and creativity. Brace yourself for a musical journey where tradition intersects with innovation, courtesy of the harmonious partnership of Martin de Freese and Joseph VanRooyen.

3.  Steve Murphy: Steve Murphy, a London, Ontario native, is a versatile artist wearing many hats – singer, songwriter, poet, novelist, and music journalist. He's the driving force behind the indie-folk-rock act Westminster Park, having led the band through the creation of six albums. Their music has received recognition on CBC and made its mark on university radio stations nationwide. In addition to collaborative ventures, Steve has released two solo albums, navigating seamlessly between full-band anthems and intimate compositions. With a mix of guitar styles, deeply personal lyrics, and emotive vocals, Steve Murphy's solo work, including the well-received "Elegant Peasant," has earned acclaim from the Barbershop Podcast for its melancholic and wistful nature, touching on the raw nerves of emotional experience.

This event promises to be a night to remember, and there's no cover charge, so bring your friends and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of live music. We look forward to seeing you on February 23 at The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe!
