Join us for the first event in The Bunker’s Winter Songwriter Series, a three-part musical journey showcasing diverse talents from across Canada. On December 27th at 8 PM, we’re bringing together three incredible songwriters for an intimate night of music in the round—featuring Jay Willow, Kaitlyn Famme, and Mattie Leon.

This is a pay-what-you-can event with a suggested $15, offering the perfect opportunity to experience live, raw talent in an inviting setting. Each artist will bring their own unique style, blending influences from folk, alternative, R&B, and beyond.

Jay Willow is an emerging Canadian artist whose sound spans genres, combining folk, alternative, and R&B with a focus on lyric-driven storytelling. His debut album, released earlier this year, showcases his versatile artistry, with occasional spoken word elements woven into his heartfelt performances.

Kaitlyn Famme is a Stratford native whose passion for music began at a young age, nurtured by mentors and local musicians, including Dayna Manning. Known for her engaging songwriting and community involvement, Kaitlyn’s new work, recorded with Dayna Manning, John Beetle Bailey, and Lauren Neilson, promises to be an exciting addition to her growing catalog.

Mattie Leon, a Hamilton-based singer-songwriter, blends classic influences from the sixties and seventies with a modern twist. His distinctive voice and masterful musicianship have taken him across the country, sharing his music with audiences from coast to coast. His latest album Backroad Medicine, produced by Mark Howard, showcases his raw, live recording style with his brother Mike and bassist Nelson Sobral.
